Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate/Trainee Mortgage Adviser to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals seeking an entry-level role in the financial services industry. As a Trainee Mortgage Adviser, you will assist our clients in navigating the complexities of mortgage options and financial planning related to home buying. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop professional advisory skills in a supportive and educational environment.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist senior advisers in managing client consultations and follow-up meetings.

Analyse clients’ financial statuses (credit scores, income, and other relevant factors) to determine eligibility and appropriate mortgage options.

Learn and apply knowledge regarding different mortgage products and lenders' criteria.

Support the processing of mortgage applications, documentation, and compliance checks.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and progress.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions to understand regulatory changes and market trends.

Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining long-term relationships.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the mortgage and real estate industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any relevant financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the financial services sector.
  • Completion of or willingness to undertake relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or level 4 CPD)
